Child therapy techniques will vary based on age and developmental stage, but may include child-centered play therapy, gestalt play therapy, sand tray therapy, expressive arts therapy, and/or talk therapy. Sessions end with an optional group consultation with parent(s) and child.  

 50 Minute Individual Session

While my area of specialization is child, adolescent, and family therapy, I offer psychotherapy for adults on a case-by-case basis. Adults may still opt to receive play, sand tray, or expressive arts therapies, and these modalities have proven successful for adults in many circumstances.

30-50 Minute Parent-Child Session

$120

Filial play therapy is a type of child therapy that brings the parent and child together, helping them communicate and connect through therapeutic play. Depending on your child's age and developmental stage, filial play therapy may be used as a standalone therapy or used in combination with individual play therapy. Session length is based on your child's age and developmental stage.

50 Minute Parent Session

$120

Parents may schedule individual sessions to work on improving communication, connection, and other parenting concerns. Depending on the age and developmental stage of your child, we may work on some filial play or expressive arts exercises you can try at home. It is important to note that if your child is also receiving individual child therapy sessions, I must uphold confidentiality during parent consultations, so the focus will be on your goals and concerns as a parent. Parents may also seek out consultation as a standalone option.

50 Minute Group Session

$150

Family therapy sessions focus on improving communication, collaboration, and perspective taking within the family unit. Additional session time may be necessary to ensure ample time for each family member to contribute.  Please contact me and we can discuss your family's specific needs.
